Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist with experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role encompasses critical tasks within the cardiac cath lab, including equipment setup, patient care, and maintaining sterile fields during various procedures. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures, including Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA). Assist with cardiac implant closure device placements and cardiac stent placements. Conduct IABP placement and removal, ensuring proper patient monitoring and safety. Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Maintain sterile technique and isolation precautions while scrubbing procedures and circulating in the OR. Work effectively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS. New York state license is required prior to submission. EPIC charting system experience is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
