Position Overview

Key ***** Accurately input prescription information received via electronic systems, fax, or phone, following established internal procedures. Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and prescribers through various channels, including phone calls and voicemail management. Follow up on outstanding prescription issues or requests submitted by pharmacists, pharmacy techs, and support teams such as incident resolution staff. Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with applicable legal standards and company guidelines, prioritizing safety and accuracy. Carry out additional responsibilities typical of a Pharmacy Technician as needed. ***** At least one year of experience working in a pharmacy technician or comparable healthcare support role. National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA) is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 120 days of hire. Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous phone demeanor. High attention to detail and accuracy in all data-related tasks. Comfortable using technology and able to quickly adapt to new software platforms. Basic proficiency in pharmacy-related math and dosage calculations.
