Job Description:
Must have previous Travel Experience.
Willing to and skilled enough to handle up to 8 patients at any one time - Includes a mix of total patient care
No long-term care nurses. Most recent 3 assignments - must be acute care MS in medium to large organizations.
Floating to another MS unit is required.
Common Medications used on the unit: IV antibiotics, Pain Control Meds, Nause Medications, Heparin, Lovenox
Common Equipment: Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA, Bard Mini-Infusers, Pyxis, Ceiling or EVA lift, Wound Manager Vac
Required Skills: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care
Minimum Years of Experience: 2
General Certifications: BLS/BCLS
EMR Used: Meditech
