Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts, with every other weekend or equivalent required. Flexibility with schedule is necessary. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large teaching facility. The ideal nurse should possess competencies and certifications relevant to emergency care and be ready to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC certifications required. TNCC certification must be submitted prior to start, and NIH Stroke Scale certification is required prior to start.
• CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training such as CPS are preferred.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Previous travel nurse experience is required unless the RN has worked in larger (500+ bed counts) teaching facilities and multiple ERs.
