RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 11:15 PM with variable shifts based on department needs
• 40 hours per week guaranteed, with possibility of 32 hours during holiday weeks
• On-call coverage required 24/7 - assigned call approximately 1-2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month
• Must be within 30-minute radius of hospital for call back
• Day shift orientation for up to 1 week or at manager's discretion
• Must complete minimum of 39 shifts during contract duration if requesting time off
• 2-3 years minimum experience circulating cases in hospital setting required
• Ability to scrub cases preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and State of Hawaii RN license
• Circulate cases for various procedures including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
• Assist with turnover cleaning and transport patients when needed
• Schedule cases as required
• Work with equipment including Meditech and PYXIS systems
• Scrubs provided by facility

This healthcare facility operates a busy and efficient 6-suite operating room department plus one suite dedicated to C-sections. The facility typically runs 4-6 rooms simultaneously daily, providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
