RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit providing medical, pre-operative and post-operative surgical care
• Care for medium to high acuity patients with high potential for becoming unstable
• Maintain patient to nurse ratio not exceeding 1:4
• Serve patient population from young adult through geriatric community
• Treat patients with cardiac diagnoses, pre/post cardiac artery bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy, acute myocardial infarction, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, pneumonia and similar disease processes
• May float to other units including Med/Surg as needed
• Must have current California RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required
• Must be W-2 employee of agency
