Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, offering support for observation patients and those with various medical and surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with respiratory conditions and general medical/surgical diagnoses.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, managing dysrhythmias as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments, including blood products and IV management.
• Provide care for palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients.
• Assist in patient education related to diabetes management and other chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
