RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work on D2 unit, a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care (medical surgical and/or step-down patients)
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
• Handle short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay) with quick turnover
• Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitor when telemetry monitoring indicated
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Every other weekend required, no call required
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• May be required to float to other units if needed
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RN, 2 CNA
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RN, 2 CNA
• Ideal candidates have positive attitude, patient experience focused, kind, compassionate, and work well as team players
