RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Typically work every 3rd weekend and cover 1 holiday (subject to change based on census and staffing)
• No regular on-call required, but may be asked to take rare call days during fluctuating census/staffing situations
• Required to float to other units during low volumes or coverage crisis, although not expected
• Minimum of three years cardiac step-down experience required
• Must have experience with open-heart patients, ventilators, and Epic EMR
• Experience required with heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Available start date is October 20th with no other viable dates
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract
