RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department with 5 fast track beds
• Variable shifts available: Days (7:00 AM/9:00 AM/11:00 AM starts), Evenings (11:00 AM/1:00 PM/3:00 PM starts), and Nights (7:00 PM start)
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work alongside charge nurses, staff nurses, techs, and paramedics
• Staffing levels flex with patient volume and arrival patterns
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses depending on time of day
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses depending on arrival patterns
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, ENPC, CPI
• Must be a hard worker with critical thinking skills and outgoing personality
• Navy scrubs required
• Every other weekend if necessary, no on-call requirements
• Use Meditech EMR system
• No floating to other units required
