Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts in a 2-suite cardiac catheterization laboratory
• 8-10 days of call per month, including one weekend
• On-call response time requirement of 30 minutes
• Work with a team of 3-5 technologists and 2-4 RNs during day shift
• Night shift operates on-call basis
• Perform basic cath lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring
• Provide conscious moderate sedation for patients
• Work with Philips and GE equipment
• Use Meditech EMR and Mac Lab systems
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: RCIS, ARRT
• Must be a go-getter and team player with great communication skills
• Ability to manage stressful situations effectively required

This healthcare facility is a 272-bed hospital featuring a modern cardiac catheterization laboratory with two procedure suites located on the first floor of the main hospital building. The facility operates with state-of-the-art Philips and GE equipment and utilizes Meditech EMR and Mac Lab systems for patient care documentation. The cardiac cath lab maintains an experienced team of professionals who pride themselves on creating a fun, collaborative work environment while delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to their patient population.
