Overview

Receptionist role at BioLegacy Research. The base pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. Location: BioLegacy – San Diego, California. Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite.

BioLegacy Research (formerly BTS Research), part of the PharmaLegacy family, is a contract research laboratory that delivers cGMP/GLP biological services to clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, academic research, medical device, and related industries. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and messages
• Manage visitor sign-in/out, issue guest badges, and enforce security protocols
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, filing, scanning, and data entry
• Assist with meeting coordination, conference room setup, and visitor logistics
• Support IT and security operations by assisting with account setup, equipment coordination, and vendor communication
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business administration, communications, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office support role preferred
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone and in-person presence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Dependable, proactive, and customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Work Schedule & Employment Terms

Full-time, onsite role based in San Diego, CA. Standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Pay range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
