Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Job Summary

The Human Resource Administrator will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries.
• Track and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed for management review.
• Process employee changes (promotions, transfers, status changes) and ensure accuracy in payroll/HR systems.
• Support performance management processes, including evaluations and training coordination.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Provide frontline HR support to employees regarding policies, benefits, and general HR inquiries.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• Ability to travel to Benicia and South San Francisco locations periodically.
