Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and optimize human resources and administrative functions at our Jeffersonville manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for designing and implementing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting HR strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, administration, and overall HR management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with company objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee performance evaluations, promotions, and salary reviews.
- Foster a culture of employee satisfaction and engagement through effective communication, feedback mechanisms, and proactive conflict resolution.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee retention, job satisfaction, and overall workplace morale.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees regarding benefits, HR policies, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations, including benefits administration and employee relations.
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including office management, facilities, and equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.
- Ensure the efficient flow of information and resources within the factory.
- Prepare and submit regular HR and administrative reports to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety and health programs.
- Supervise and support the HR & Admin team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Drive process improvements in HR and administrative functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience in employee relations is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and engineering, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve HR-related issues.
- Strong communication abilities, exceptional analytical skills, and adaptability to handle work pressure and provide excellent service.
- Knowledge of industry-specific HR requirements and regulations is a plus.
