Overview

WAGO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide administrative support to the HR department and assist in the efficient operation of HR functions. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in human resources or related field
  • One to two years of general business or Human Resources experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS and ATS systems

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify and maintain accurate and complete HR files, records, and documentation
  • Protect the confidentiality and integrity of all employee information
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure required HR documents are collected, compliant, and properly filed
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team through data entry, document management, and record preparation
  • Prepare new hire materials and coordinate employee setup with IT/facilities
  • Create new hire checklists, orientation materials, schedules and share invites with involved team members
  • Coordinate issuance of employee ID cards and visitor badges, and support visitor access procedures
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Maintain training records and update organizational charts
  • Manage routine HR inquiries from employees and applicants, providing accurate information regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures; escalate complex queries as needed
  • Participate in the company safety committee and assist HR Generalist with documenting meeting minutes
  • Provide administrative support for birth announcements, floral/plant arrangements, card orders, benefits enrollment, company meetings and events, safety training, and wellness activities
  • Compile and prepare employee anniversary information for Marketing communications
  • Ensure validity of employee Fleet car insurance cards, vehicle assignment agreements, and Driver’s licenses; assist with maintaining Fleet information
  • Record and maintain medical certification for IIAT (if applicable) vehicles
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, background checks and pre-employment drug testing as needed
