Overview

Barista position with Concord Hospitality Enterprises. Provides friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space; wipe spills as they occur.
• Remove trash and keep work areas tidy.
• Greet and welcome customers; handle inquiries and resolve complaints or escalate to the restaurant manager as needed.
• Tabulate data regarding bills and total amounts; record transactions in computers.
• Inform customers about available payment methods (cash, check, credit/debit cards).
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory, noting items that are running low.
• Handle money accurately and maintain records of transactions.
• Be capable of repetitive tasks with accuracy and maintain basic computer proficiency.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and people skills; interact politely with customers.
• Able to work varied hours and weekends; be neat and professional in appearance.
• Basic reading and writing skills; multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer bases.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience and computer knowledge are helpful.
• Ability to count money accurately and manage currencies and coins.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to address customer concerns.
• Must be personable, respectful, and able to engage with guests from diverse cultures.
• Integrity, honesty, and accountability in all dealings.
• Must be able to read and write; capable of performing repetitive tasks without errors.
