Base pay range
$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr
JustinBradley’s client, a leader in entertainment media, is seeking a Business Analyst – Power BI & Business Central (Dynamics 365 ERP) to support their Licensing and Publishing Technology team. This role combines data analytics, reporting, and ERP optimization to deliver actionable insights, improve workflows, and drive strategic decision-making. You’ll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable data solutions and streamlined publishing operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights across sales, finance, and publishing operations.
- Partner with architects and developers to build scalable data models, datasets, and KPIs.
- Conduct data rationalization to improve storage and management across data lakes, warehouses, and ERP systems.
- Facilitate requirements sessions with stakeholders in Sales, Finance, and Publishing, translating needs into functional specs and mockups.
- Document current vs. future-state workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Draft functional specifications, test plans, and lead QA/UAT testing for ERP and reporting enhancements.
- Maintain project documentation including status reports, risk logs, and issue registers.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and contribute to strategic publishing technology initiatives.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics, reporting, or ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data architecture.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Media & Entertainment or Publishing industries.
- Understanding of publishing workflows and product lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP customization and data infrastructure design.
