A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Boston, MA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and involves working with pediatric students who require speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, managing a caseload that includes grades K-5.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Provide therapy using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) techniques as needed.
Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support therapy goals.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience working in pediatric settings with a focus on school-aged children.
Eligible for or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Familiarity with IEP development and AAC technologies.
Previous experience supervising SLPA personnel is essential.
