Role Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between the company and vendors, maintaining effective communication and professional relationships.
Determine material requirements, establish order quantities, and create material schedules.
Manage inventory levels for assigned products to ensure availability and efficiency.
Source, evaluate, and develop new and existing suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate costs and terms.
Process non-inventory requisitions, ensuring accuracy in quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Purchasing/Procurement experience in manufacturing industry.
Understanding of international shipping.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable, dependable, and highly organized.
Strong customer service and communication skills, including professional phone presence.
Team player with the ability to also work independently.
Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused “can-do” attitude.
