About the Position
The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the HR team by assisting with day-to-day HR operations, employee requests, and HR programs. This role works closely with the HR team and business leaders to ensure smooth HR processes, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities: Employee Support & HR Operations Respond to employee HR questions and requests with professionalism and accuracy. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including processing documents and coordinating exit surveys. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure proper filing of HR documents.
HR Systems & Performance Management Support the administration of the performance management process, including tracking completion of evaluations and sending reminders. Help generate HR reports and track metrics from 30/60/90-day reviews, mid-year check-ins, and exit surveys.
Compliance & Policy Support business leaders with basic compliance tasks, such as license or registration tracking. Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, and communications as directed by HR leadership.
Talent Development & Special Projects Support the Talent Development Specialist and HR team with training initiatives, tools, and resources. Assist with special HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Basic understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and HR systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Self-starter and team player with a positive attitude.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
