We are seeking a seasoned
Apparel Pattern Engineer
with strong expertise in
pattern making and adjustments
to support product lines. This role will collaborate closely with Marketing and Design to bring concepts to life,
create and adjust patterns,
and ensure garments meet performance, fit, and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities: Translate design concepts into accurate
2D patterns and first models . Create, review, and revise product specifications with detailed construction methods. Collaborate in fit sessions, incorporating styling and fit changes. Inspect, critique, and refine samples to meet design and performance goals. Ensure specifications optimize product profitability. Represent the brand in athlete-facing work when needed.
Must Have: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Designer specializing in
pattern making/adjustments . Proven ability to start patterns from scratch and refine existing ones. Strong knowledge of garment construction, with emphasis on
knits
(wovens experience also applicable). Portfolio demonstrating pattern expertise and complexity of past work.
Nice to Have: Experience with performance wear, outerwear, dresses, or skirts. Familiarity with tools such as
PDM, PCX, PLM, and web-based comment systems .
