About the Company : A New York-based fixed-income asset manager is looking for an experienced Investment Data Specialist to manage the daily investment data oversight and related trading data reconciliation activities. You must have a deep understanding of bank loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and other complex fixed income structures.
About the Role : The role is responsible for: Overseeing the firm’s middle office fixed income trade data capture and workflow for accuracy Oversee, manage, and develop data integrity controls Resolve all data incidents Oversee and manage trading positions and cash reconciliation processes Strive to improve investment data accuracy across the firm Identify and develop data quality improvement projects
Qualifications : 4+ years of fixed income operations and/or fixed income data management operations
Required Skills : Deep understanding of the fixed income markets, including bond math, portfolio accounting, and underlying mechanisms, rather than simply processing tasks Demonstrated knowledge of structured credit trade lifecycle (CLOs) Demonstrated experience with fixed income data reconciliation systems and platforms (Charles River) Advanced Excel skills working with massive amounts of data and creating analytical reports Ability to communicate across multiple departments and with senior management
Preferred Skills : Strongly prefer experience working with credit agreements, customized deal term sheets, and translating the data into the firm’s trading operations and workflows
Pay range and compensation package : Base $140K-$150K plus an attractive performance-based cash bonus
