Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Temple, Tx Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Primary duties will include: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and other key accounts. Record journal entries and assist with month-end close. Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance. Generate basic financial reports and provide support to management as needed. Monitor daily cash receipts, vendor invoices, and customer payments. Assist with maintaining vendor and customer records in the accounting system. Prepare and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding receivables. Process employee expense reports and reimbursements. Support payroll processing by providing timesheet and deduction data Assist with filing and maintaining financial records in accordance with company policies. Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions. Proficiency in NetSuite, or similar accounting software. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred: Experience reconciling accounts and preparing basic reports. Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. without assistance. Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them. Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
