SUMMARY: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring all inbound shipments are received accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role includes inspecting trucks, verifying product condition and quantities, processing receipts in D365, and properly staging, labeling, and storing inventory. The Receiving Clerk will also support replenishment tasks and assist with other warehouse operations as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Greet and check in drivers upon arrival. • Offload trailers safely and efficiently, following warehouse safety procedures. • Inspect all products received for damage and verify quantities against shipping documents. • Accurately receive inventory into Microsoft D365. • Assign and apply License Plates (LPs) to pallets. • Label and store pallets with receiving date and ensure proper identification. • Print and process replenish work orders to support production needs. • Maintain accurate documentation for all receipts and transactions, excellent inventory control. • Support other warehouse functions as needed, including picking, shipping, transfers, and inventory control. • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Prior warehouse or receiving experience strongly preferred. • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or similar Warehouse Management Systems a plus. • Ability to operate forklifts, and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple warehouse functions. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT: Office environment usually quiet Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve:
Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing, work around loud machinery and moving parts. Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather). Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
