We’re looking for a Director, New Business Development (NBD) to help us grow our business and elevate our brand presence. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the sales cycle from prospecting to pitch to closing, with the goal of driving more than $3M in new business annually. If you’re a proven dealmaker with deep industry knowledge and a passion for building lasting client relationships, this is your chance to shape the future of experiential marketing at Impact XM. What You’ll Do Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities with key decision-makers. Lead the full sales process: capabilities presentations, RFP responses, proposals, pitches, and contract negotiations. Manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver compelling, winning proposals. Stay ahead of industry trends and client needs, turning insights into actionable strategies. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting. Travel for prospect/client meetings, events, and project delivery as needed. Seamlessly transition new clients to the account management team for long-term success. What You Bring 6–8 years of direct industry experience, with a proven track record in event marketing, trade shows, or experiential marketing. At least 2 years in business development, with experience managing the entire sales cycle. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong presentation skills—you can captivate a room and tailor messaging to different audiences. Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
