Certified Welder/Fabricator

to join our team in

St. Louis, MO

.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble steel structures and equipment through use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Weld new parts and / or make welding repairs on previously manufactured parts and rental equipment. Perform MIG, TIG, Stick welding. Produce specific components for welding according to project specifications. Read prints and work with engineering to produce fabricated parts Weld components in horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Travel within assigned region, as needed, to customer job sites to perform work. Mentor and train newly hired welders joining Hammer & Steel. Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive wages: up to

$32 per hour

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older; Valid driver's license with clean MVR Three (3) or more years of relevant welding experience; MIG, TIG and Stick Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen Preferred Requirements: Vocational/Technical

degree Five (5+) years’ experience heavy structural welding Moderate Metallurgy knowledge Applicants are subject to background check, drug testing and physical exam.
