JOB SUMMARY We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead daily operations, manage a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead with both professionalism and heart. You’ll be empowered to make key decisions across staffing, operations, sales, marketing, and service. Treat it like you own it. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead and support all staff, creating a positive and productive work culture Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team Oversee scheduling, uniforms, performance evaluations, and goal setting Foster strong communication and teamwork across all departments Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain an open-door policy Operations & Guest Experience Ensure smooth daily operations across all departments Uphold New Waterloo standards for service, cleanliness, and safety Oversee guest experience from pre-arrival through departure Manage events, property maintenance, and project completion Maintain public spaces, inventory levels, and safety protocols Finance & Administration Collaborate with the Operations team on business strategy and planning Manage budgets, forecasts, payroll, and financial reporting Monitor expenses and optimize resources Oversee vendor contracts and compliance with licensing and procedures Keep accurate records and ensure the timely completion of projects Communication Act as the main liaison between the property and New Waterloo leadership Respond promptly to guest feedback and communicate updates to staff Represent the property professionally in all interactions Stay informed on industry trends, local happenings, and best practices Who you are: You believe in hospitality, deeply and passionately. You have a proven track record of managing teams and executing business plans You have 5+ years of experience in a hospitality, retail, or service industry leadership role.
