Plant Automation Maintenance Specialist (PLC/VFD)

Own the uptime: troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated equipment Work with PLCs, VFDs, and multi-voltage systems from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase Be the go-to for fast emergency response and quality-driven maintenance Pay and perks
$28–$31 per hour
starting $2,100 sign-on bonus Shifts
Days: 5am–5pm Nights: 5pm–5am What you will do
Follow PPE and GMP requirements (steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair/beard nets as required) Protect product quality while performing all tasks Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform root-cause analysis Respond to radio calls and support production teams Work with control wiring (24VDC, 120VAC) and step-up/step-down transformers Read ladder logic and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley) Execute electrical wiring, repairs, modifications, and upgrades across the plant Monitor equipment and facilities to detect and prevent issues Perform rapid emergency repairs to reduce downtime Repair air valves and broken machine parts; rebuild drive motors Maintain familiarity with plant electrical equipment and keep accurate records Meet production goals set by management What we are looking for

mechanic/technician
role VFD and PLC experience required Electrical background with 480V 3-phase and machine controls Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvement
programs/procedures Forklift operation experience Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Safety-first mindset and commitment to continuous learning Completion of training courses as assigned by management Willingness to work overtime when needed Skills checklist
