You will assist the Design & Merchandising teams and will be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses. Merchandising Intern Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to develop the seasonal product line that addresses customer needs and specific brand visions. Reviewing selling reports and shopping the competitive retail landscape to identify white space opportunities and bring new product ideas to fruition. Assisting with/ line sheet and sample preparation for customer and licensor meetings Entering specs into our Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) System to keep track of samples, costing, and adoption of new styles. Checking in and organizing development samples from the factories Working with/ International suppliers directly through daily email communication Project Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change. Qualifications: Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Marketing/Business Majors a plus
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday Able to commit to the full duration of the internship program (10 weeks) Thrives in collaborative settings and understands the value of cross-functional alignment Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities Looking to gain hands-on experience Click HERE to learn more about our internship program!
