From custom jewelry and embroidered apparel to engraved gifts, sublimated drinkware, and printed mats, our Lafayette, Louisiana facility fulfills thousands of orders daily. During the holiday season—our busiest time of year—our packaging team ensures every product is checked, cleaned, and packed with care before it reaches the customer. As a Seasonal Packager, you’ll play a critical role in preparing customer orders for shipment and making sure each package is holiday-ready. Position: Seasonal Packager Location: Lafayette, LA (On-site) Department: Production Job Overview The Seasonal Packager is responsible for inspecting finished products, performing light finishing work (such as trimming threads or cleaning surfaces), and securely packaging items for shipment. Packagers work across multiple departments and may handle products ranging from jewelry and apparel to home décor and gifts. Training schedules may begin with reduced hours until production ramps up. Key Responsibilities Inspect finished products for quality, personalization accuracy, and presentation. Perform light finishing tasks such as trimming threads, removing backing, or wiping products clean. Match completed items with correct packing slips. Package products securely using branded or protective packaging. Use handheld scanners and computer systems to log or confirm orders. Stage completed orders for shipping and assist with loading/unloading as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Assist other production and packaging departments during peak demand as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems. Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented. Prior experience in packaging, fulfillment, or quality control is a plus but not required. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 20–35 pounds depending on assignment. Strong visual acuity for quality inspection and order accuracy. Seasonal Schedules Employment runs early–mid October through mid-December (exact dates depend on production volume). Training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Training schedules may begin with reduced hours until the season fully ramps up.
Our production schedule is scaled with holiday demand. Your preference for day and night shifts is used when assigning shifts as the season progresses.
