Seasonal Mat Packer
means being part of a fast-paced, detail-driven team that helps customers receive products they’ll love to gift or use in their homes. Position: Seasonal Mat packer Location: Lafayette, LA (On-site) Department: UV Printing Production Job Overview The Seasonal Mat Packer is responsible for inspecting finished printed mats for quality and personalization accuracy, then rolling, boxing, and preparing them for shipment. Training schedules may begin with reduced hours until production ramps up. Key Responsibilities Inspect printed mats for quality, color consistency, and personalization accuracy. Verify that each product matches its packing slip before packaging. Roll mats neatly and package for shipment. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe packing area. Work efficiently to meet daily production and packaging targets. Work as part of a collaborative production team. While assigned primarily to UV printing, all employees may assist in other departments as needed to meet seasonal demand. Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot printing errors. Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Dependable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in packaging, fulfillment, or quality inspection is a plus but not required. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous production or packaging experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to roll and box mats consistently throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Strong visual acuity for quality inspection and order accuracy. Seasonal Schedules Employment runs early–mid October through mid-December (exact dates depend on production volume). Training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Training schedules may begin with reduced hours until the season fully ramps up.
Our production schedule is scaled with holiday demand. Your preference for day and night shifts is used when assigning shifts as the season progresses.
