A&P Mechanic – Piston Aircraft

About Client We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic with experience in piston-powered aircraft maintenance. This role involves working on general aviation aircraft, including Cirrus and other piston platforms, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$25 – $33 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift:
Day shift (with flexibility depending on operational needs)

Job Summary The A&P Mechanic – Piston Aircraft will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on piston-powered aircraft. This includes ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with team members to deliver safe, airworthy aircraft.
Key Responsibilities Conduct airframe and powerplant inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance on piston engines and related systems. Maintain and service aircraft components, including electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical systems. Accurately complete logbook entries, work orders, and required FAA documentation. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency and deliver safe, airworthy aircraft.
Minimum Requirements Valid FAA A&P Certificate required. Experience with piston engine aircraft maintenance. Ideal Qualifications
Cirrus aircraft experience preferred. Strong understanding of FAA regulations and manufacturer maintenance manuals. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical data. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
