A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Susanville, CA, for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Delivering targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals Monitoring and documenting student progress with accuracy and consistency Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and support Engaging families actively in the therapy process to enhance outcomes Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state This full school-year contract position provides robust professional support, including access to a dedicated advisory team of experienced SLPs within the state.
