Position:
Crane Technician Specialist – Crane Specialist Shifts:
All shifts available Compensation:
$25–$37 per hour (based on experience, skills, and shift) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Industrial Machine Specialist – Crane Specialist
to support maintenance operations across all shifts. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical systems who are looking to specialize in crane inspection, maintenance, and repair within an industrial environment. The Crane Specialist will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility cranes and hoisting systems, as well as other industrial equipment. This includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and documentation in alignment with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. While relevant certifications are a plus, hands-on experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is key. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and related industrial equipment
Conduct routine crane inspections in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer requirements
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic tools
Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address system issues efficiently
Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company procedures, and equipment standards
Support broader maintenance functions as needed across mechanical and electrical systems
Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, or variable shifts based on operational needs
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with overhead cranes and hoisting systems
Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and crane safety standards
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Crane inspector certification is a plus but not required

Desired Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a similar role
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Industrial Maintenance Technician certification or training preferred
Skills: Basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical repair skills (mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical maintenance)
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment problems
Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions
Strong adherence to safety policies and procedures
Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities
Characteristics: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Can follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
Other Requirements: Valid state driver’s license, insurance, and dependable transportation
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Job-Specific Skills: Leadership experience in an industrial maintenance team (3+ years preferred)
Technical knowledge of heat treat operations and related systems
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, especially for heat treat operations
Understanding of budgeting and performance tracking
Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Work is primarily in a factory environment
Requires walking around factory and outdoor areas
Must be able to safely climb, bend, and maneuver around equipment
Requires close and color vision for inspections
Operate various tools and equipment as needed
