Job Title: Purchasing Agent Location: Anaheim, CA Pay Range: $31-$35/hr (based on experience, education, and qualifications) Job Summary As a Purchasing Agent you will be responsible for executing purchasing activities across assigned categories, vendors, or customer segments. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory balance, managing supplier relationships, and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement processes from demand planning through final disposition Negotiate pricing, lead times, and freight terms with suppliers Maintain vendor relationships to ensure service levels and on-time delivery Monitor inventory levels and aged profiles to optimize stock Collaborate with internal teams on replenishment, operations, and inventory control Track and report on purchasing metrics including volume, value, and overstock Ensure compliance with category management guidelines and preferred vendor programs Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Qualifications Bachelorâs degree preferred 2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with ERP systems and basic ordering principles Strong analytical and negotiation skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Experience in demand planning, freight, or warehousing is a plus
