HR & Payroll Coordinator
to support our client's Human Resources team in a fast-paced, onsite environment in Portland, OR. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR operations and payroll processing who enjoys being a go-to resource for employees and thrives in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Coordinate with accounting and finance teams on payroll-related matters Generate reports related to headcount, compensation, and HR metrics Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in HR and/or payroll coordination Experience processing payroll required Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in HR or similar preferred
