Field Service Technicians
in Atlanta, GA, Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Portland, OR or Washington, DC area. Candidates must have prior Power distribution experience to be considered. Position Overview:
Akkodis is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Customer Service Technician to support our advanced power distribution equipment. This role involves both on-site and remote service, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset. The pay is $72,000 - $100,000 a year and OT eligible + benefits + PTO + subsidized healthcare + Holiday pay. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Cannot do C2C. Key Responsibilities Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on equipment, including: Static transfer switches Power distribution units Remote power panels Provide technical support to customers on-site and remotely via phone and email Maintain accurate and timely service records in the system Respond to emergency service calls, including participation in the 24/7 support rotation Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as required Occasional weekend or holiday work may be necessary Qualifications: Required:
Experience servicing electrical power systems Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics Familiarity with PC-based programming of printed circuit boards Knowledge of electrical PPE and safety protocols Clean driving record Preferred Associate degree in an electrical discipline Military training in electronics or electrical systems Work Location: Initial training conducted in Aurora, Ohio Field service performed at customer sites throughout the U.S. and Canada 75% travel and 25% working from home Company vehicle will be provided and company card for expenses.
