We are seeking a
Property Accountant
to manage the financial operations of a diverse real estate portfolio. This role is key to ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial support for property management teams. Responsibilities of the Property Accountant Role: Maintain the general ledger, process accounts payable/receivable, and reconcile accounts.
The Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for assigned properties.
Manage tenant billing, rent collections, and CAM (common area maintenance) reconciliations.
The Property Accountant will assist with budgets, forecasts, and year-end audit schedules.
Partner with property managers to track expenses and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications of the Property Accountant Role: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of accounting experience (property or real estate accounting preferred).
Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting practices.
