$50 / hr ?? About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Chiller Technician
to join our dynamic HVAC team in
Charlottesville, VA . This role is ideal for a career-oriented technician with deep technical knowledge of
chilled water systems
boilers , and
complex HVAC equipment , who is ready to lead and mentor others while delivering top-tier service to our commercial clients. ??? What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain
centrifugal chillers
reciprocating
absorption , and
screw chillers , as well as associated
pneumatic and electrical control systems Service
medium to large HVAC systems , including
rooftop units
DX systems
boilers , and related mechanical systems. Accurately diagnose system failures, test components using appropriate instrumentation, and perform necessary disassembly and reassembly. Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to HVAC technicians and apprentices in the field. Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and customer service across all projects. ? What We're Looking For Proven experience
as an HVAC Service Technician with specialized expertise in
chilled water systems Hands-on experience with boilers
and their control systems. Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing complex commercial HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings , equipment specs, and job conditions. A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor apprentices and junior techs. EPA Universal Certification
(required). Journeyman or Master HVAC License
(preferred but not required). Solid understanding of
