Junior Paralegal
candidate for a distinguished & renowned hospital/healthcare facility ( corporate legal dept .) based in East Hollywood, CA (90027).
Position Title Junior Paralegal Note: This is a temp-to-hire role within the hospital's
corporate legal department Candidate must have at least 1+ year's experience working either in a law firm or legal department of a corporation

Employment Status Temp-to-hire employment opportunity. Temp/contract period is 90 days in duration.
Employer Work Model Fully onsite work model (Monday-Friday).
Position Description The Paralegal will provide support to the
Office of General Counsel (corporate legal dept.) in the following areas: preparation, review, and processing of legal documents using form templates and managing special projects.
Organizes, reviews, and maintains the Legal Department's contracts, legal documents, and records. Prepares, drafts, and reviews contracts and other legal documents. Manages assigned special projects (e.g. subpoenas, debt collection, investigations, Legal Tracker). Research & monitors and summarizes assigned legal topics, legal news, legislation, and/or litigation matters. Prepares and files required documents for the Secretary of State and local governmental agencies. Organizes and maintains emails/electronic files using the Legal Department's document management/repository system. Prepares and presents Cabinet Dashboards for executives and other internal stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned.
At least one of the following A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program, A certificate from a paralegal program, or a degree from, an accredited secondary institution which requires at least 31 semester units in law-related courses.
Hourly Rate/Comp.: Hourly compensation is up to $25-30.00/hour.
