A Receiving Clerk verifies, inspects, and documents incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices, operates equipment like forklifts, updates inventory records, assigns storage locations, maintains organized and clean work areas. This position is located in Waukesha, WI. Key responsibilities

include meticulous record-keeping, strong communication with vendors and internal teams, and adherence to safety procedures to ensure accurate and efficient management of goods. Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming trucks and deliveries, receiving packages and signing for them. Verification & Inspection: Compare shipments with packing slips and purchase orders, inspect items for damage or discrepancies, and document any issues found. Documentation: Prepare necessary paperwork, update computer databases with inventory changes, and generate reports on incoming shipments. Storage & Replenishment: Assign appropriate storage locations and stock items in the warehouse in an organized manner. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with tasks like cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, banders, hand tools (ie- Sawzall, drills, tape measure, etc.) and hand trucks, to move and manage materials. Communication: Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment status, back orders, and delivery issues. Essential Skills Attention to Detail:

The ability to lift up to 75lbs, walk, and bend frequently as this role is physically demanding. Safety Awareness:

A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment. Miscellaneous Duties as assigned:

Cross training in other areas as required. Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, operating instructions, assembly instructions and correspondence. Ability to solve basic math. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Physical Demands: Required to lift up to 75+ lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. Work Environment: Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
