Mailroom & Operations Assistant

This is a physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and use of various mail and copy equipment in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Process and sort incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and packages
Operate high-volume duplicating, scanning, and mail processing equipment
Perform binding, finishing, copier maintenance, and basic repair tasks
Use shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, jogger, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler, and scales
Apply postage and prepare shipments
Use handheld scanners, computers, MS Office, email, and POS systems
May travel between campus buildings
Perform housekeeping, final check, and other duties as assigned
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
High-volume mailroom experience required
Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office and email systems
Customer service and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 400 lbs on wheels
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Dress code: black or navy polo shirt, khakis or jeans (no holes/distressing), and comfortable sneakers
Parking is the responsibility of the candidate; public transportation is highly encouraged
