Job Title: Clinic Admin Coordinator
Location: 19500 W Interstate 10, San Antonio, TX 78257
Work Hours:
8 AM - 5 PM CST, Monday to Friday Contract: 3+ Months
Contract to Hire Shift: M-F (8-5) Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at. This is an excellent opportunity for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the initial triage of members, administrative intake, and managing admission/discharge information post-notification. You will work closely with hospitals and the clinical team, manage incoming calls, service requests, and provide information on available network services. Additionally, you will handle the referrals process, including processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations. Job Summary: Manage member intake, admission/discharge info, calls, service requests, and referrals. Support Optum Care Delivery segment. Key Responsibilities: Database/queue entry (250 tasks/day) Correspondence (180 tasks/day) Inbound/outbound calls (50-60 inbound, 50 outbound/day) Manage referrals and prior authorizations Ideal Candidate: 2+ years in a clinic/hospital preferred Experience as a receptionist or medical assistant High School Diploma/GED 2 years of admin support Medical terminology knowledge Interview Process: Conducted via Teams Multiple rounds
