Position Overview This position will be an ambassador of project management to the global community. Sharing of project management skills and knowledge along with benchmarking of best practices to improve internal processes are inherent to this role.

Position Summary: Project Managers are responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and controlling projects associated with: New product development Product cost reduction Industrialization projects The candidate must possess the drive to become a future leader that delivers outstanding results in a dynamic cross-functional environment.

Core Responsibilities: Manage projects of small to medium complexity and risk levels Lead new product, process, or cost initiatives while achieving quality, timing, and cost targets Lead cross-functional teams and work with internal departments to ensure timely project completion Work with customers to ensure requirements are met Ensure proper coordination, prioritization, and communication of project objectives Drive execution excellence using standardized project management tools and compliance to Axalta processes

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate or higher capability in Microsoft Project Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)

Required Qualifications: Strong manufacturing process background Minimum 3 years of experience leading initiatives Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organization Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation creation Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications: Engineering, business development, or manufacturing experience (or related education)
