About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Professional Engineer (P.E.)
to join our team as a
Project Manager – Storm water Engineer
. This position offers the opportunity to lead storm water and water resources projects, mentor junior staff, and work directly with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities Act as the primary signing engineer on storm water and water resources projects. Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and training to engineering staff. Lead meetings and maintain communication with clients, agencies, and stakeholders. Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard tools. Prepare and review technical reports, FEMA submittals, and design documents.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Active
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas
(other states a plus). 5+ years of experience
in hydrology/hydraulics and storm water projects. Proficiency in
HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
. Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles (Rational Method, Unit Hydrograph, Manning’s Equation, etc.). Familiarity with
Texas Dam Safety Regulations
and dam breach analysis (preferred). Experience with
FEMA LOMC submittals
(preferred). Strong technical writing, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with diverse teams.
