Practice Administrator

About the Role As a
Practice Administrator,
you’ll be an integral member of our leadership team, partnering directly with the VP of Operations and the Practice Administration Team to oversee the operational success of Resource Anesthesiology’s Tennessee facilities. You will liaise with executive management and local hospital leadership to drive efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster an outstanding care environment.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Develop and monitor facility budgets, key performance indicators, and operational metrics. Implement process improvements to optimize clinical workflows, staffing models, and resource utilization. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the VP of Operations on business planning, capital projects, and service expansions. Serve as the primary liaison between anesthesiology providers, hospital executives, and ancillary departments. Team Management: Lead and mentor practice coordinators, administrative staff, and front-line supervisors. Facilitate regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives. Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to CMS, TJC, state regulations, and anesthesia-specific accreditation standards. Oversee clinical documentation, credentialing, and quality-assurance activities. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with hospital C-suite, nursing leadership, and perioperative departments. Solicit feedback from physicians and staff to continuously enhance patient care and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills Experience: 5+ years in healthcare operations or practice administration—anesthesia group experience highly preferred. Proven track record managing multi-site clinical programs or hospital service lines. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—able to influence at all organizational levels. Strong organizational aptitude with superior time-management and project-coordination abilities. Data-driven decision-maker: proficient in financial analysis, KPI tracking, and operational reporting. Comfortable navigating complex regulatory and compliance environments.
