Attorney

Overview: (Active Bar Admission in CA highly preferred) We are seeking a Temporary Attorney to join the contracting team within the Legal Department. This role will support IT, privacy, and information security contracting needs, as well as other G&A functions as required. The ideal candidate will bring strong transactional experience and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, professional services agreements, software licenses, cloud computing agreements, data processing agreements, and amendments. Provide guidance on existing agreements and advise contracts managers on complex negotiations. Identify and communicate risks to internal stakeholders and ensure contracts align with business and legal needs. Collaborate with internal clients across departments to address legal and business questions. Support the development and improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and processes. Qualifications: JD and active bar admission required (California preferred). 5–7 years of transactional experience in law firm or in-house legal environments, with a focus on IT-related agreements. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CLM systems required. Strong judgment, independence, and ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
