Why This Role Is Important You’ll lead end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant pay for a growing, multi-state employee base. Your work will directly support key initiatives related to financial accuracy, tax reporting, and audit readiness. As the payroll subject matter expert, you'll influence system improvements and new process implementations across departments. You'll help scale operations through automation and streamlined workflows as the business expands nationally and globally. By maintaining tax compliance and reconciling payroll expenses, you’ll protect the organization from costly penalties and inefficiencies. You’ll support transparency and education for employees by communicating payroll policies and developing helpful resources.

The Background That Fits 3+ years of payroll or payroll analyst experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong technical knowledge of payroll laws, multi-state taxation, and payroll tax reconciliation. Experience with systems like ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms. Familiarity with global payroll operations and equity compensation preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field; payroll certification (CPP or FPC) a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Benefits teams.
