Full-Time Exceptional and robust benefits package Position Summary We are seeking a PMO Manager for our direct client to lead and elevate the Project Management Office, overseeing a team of Project Managers. This role is responsible for owning the PMO, driving project governance frameworks, and ensuring excellence in delivery of mission-critical, high-budget technology implementations. The ideal candidate is not just a strong project manager, but a true people leader who can mentor, inspire, and support their team while managing multimillion-dollar budgets, partnering with vendors, and presenting confidently to executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of Project Managers and Coordinators, fostering career growth, collaboration, and accountability. Own the PMO framework by establishing, standardizing, and enforcing best practices, methodologies, and governance across the project portfolio. Oversee Priority technology implementations ($1M+ projects), ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Manage and forecast budgets across multiple large-scale initiatives, providing accurate financial oversight and reporting. Build strong vendor partnerships, including contract negotiation, performance management, and relationship development. Present project portfolio updates, risks, and progress to executive stakeholders and business leaders with clarity and impact. Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to mission-critical initiatives. Monitor project portfolio health, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective action. Champion a people-first leadership style, ensuring PMs feel supported, coached, and positioned for success.

Qualifications 8+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3+ years managing PMs within a PMO. Proven expertise in budget management and financial oversight of large technology programs. Strong background in project governance frameworks (PMI, PMBOK, Agile/Hybrid methodologies). Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to develop and grow PM talent. Demonstrated success leading large-scale, high-budget IT implementations. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience managing vendors and third-party partners. PMP certification strongly preferred; candidates without must obtain PMP within 12 months of hire. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Key Competencies Leadership & People Management
