The Digital Modernization Sector offers an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to provide critical support to the US Space Force's Space Systems Command (SSC), specifically within the Operational Command and Control Acquisition Delta, also known as Kobayashi-Maru. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and technical assistance to personnel at various levels. Responsibilities include managing IT assets and inventory while overseeing a range of IT administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with the technical design, construction, and delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions as required.
Configure and manage Azure cloud and Microsoft Intune environments effectively.
Set up and manage Entra ID Joined and Entra ID Hybrid Joined devices within the GCCH Intune Tenant.
Implement Intune Compliance and Configuration Policies to meet DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Organizational Security Baselines.
Configure and troubleshoot Intune Application packages for user installation via the Company Portal, or push necessary applications and updates across systems.
Support and troubleshoot Windows and Mac Operating Systems' integration with Intune management.
Follow DoD security guidelines for Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades, and modifications.
Provide technical support to personnel regarding the implementation and daily operations of office computer systems.
Manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points) using DoD-compliant configurations.
Maintain network servers, workstations, security monitoring systems, and related documentation.
Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) benchmarks for effective Cyber Hygiene practices.
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with DoD asset management policies throughout the hardware/software lifecycle.
Provide multi-level Help Desk support and troubleshooting for all hardware and software issues.
Coordinate hardware and software system installation, ensuring adherence to specifications and minimal disruption to users.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for desktop solutions and troubleshooting procedures in the Knowledge Database.
Might mentor or train fellow Information Technology Specialists.
This is an on-site position with the Government customer, requiring a commitment to work 5 days a week at an off-Base location in Colorado Springs, CO to facilitate quick access to secure networks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant technical experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
Must be a US Citizen with a final DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Hold IAT Level II level SEC+CE certification or higher.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in an enterprise setting.
Strong comprehension of IT asset management, provisioning tools, and user account lifecycle management.
Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic network configurations.
Experience using Trello or similar project management tools.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of security protocols for account provisioning, including CAC request process and elevated account tokens.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time management abilities.
Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Azure Fundamental or Associate certification.
Experience with MacOS (including DISA STIG and Intune Integration).
Familiarity with automated software deployment methodologies.
Experience with PowerShell, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI for Configuration Management, Automation, and Desired State Configuration.
Experience with Kusto Query Language/KQL for generating reports from Log Analytics Workspaces and other Data Repositories.
Familiarity with Defender for Endpoint integration with Intune.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
